Long time huh???

Sorry about that. Life in general has been crazy!

School is out for summer!!!! Yeah, except now that means writing lesson plans for next year! And I will have a FRESHMAN! Oh wow... that makes me feel really old, well till I look down at my sweet almost 2 year olds face, then I don't feel so old!

Some of the kids are going to camp this year. Mac is going this week. Caden is going in two weeks, will be his FIRST time, I think mom's more worried than him! But thankfully his big sis, Sheila is going as a counselor, so I know she will watch out for him. Wow, can't believe time goes by so fast.

Everyone else is busy doing this and that for the summer. Work for Dana is good, thank the Lord for that! I am still scrapping and stamping, just haven't had much time the past few weeks, but I got to get going. I have some orders to fill for cards! (yeah!)

Will post something soon!

A Layout and a Card or Two...

Thanks for looking! I just love this LO of my little girl. It's been a year since this was taken, but we still love Starbucks! All my kiddo's have drank coffee (coffee flavored milk) for a long time!

The cards were made at my last Stampin' Up! Class. I stretched myself doing the Bold Brights... this is just not my "colors".

I love the challenges and things that are given out at From Here 2 Scrapternity, and the fact that the board is "christian" makes it better. Great ladies, great design team, great community!

Always on the run...

That is usually how my life is spent. Always running here and there, after this child or the other.... But I wouldn't trade one moment. I love my kids, and the life that God has blessed me with. I'm thankful that He has been so good to me!
I've scrapped a little between all my other "to do's", and these are both of my youngest son. Thanks for looking!

Holy Week...

I have been so blessed by our new pastor in how he has lead our congregation through the steps of Jesus. Sunday we were reminded how Jesus was celebrated, with palm branches layed before the King. But just a few days later, those same people, were screaming crucify Him. How quickly things can change.

I have read this morning about His prayers of desperation in the garden, and how He asked His Father for a "plan b". But still He knew, the price must be payed, and He would have to take his walk down the Via Dolorosa.

Take time this week, to reflect on what an amazing sacrifice has been paid for you, and for me. Remember these moments of His life, the horror of his suffering and death, but with joyful anticipation, remember the tomb is not the end of the story, just the beginning of our future. For "He is not here, He has risen." Praise God! Worship His Majesty!

Now...

I have thought so much about you today Granny. I miss you so much even three years later. I know to be happy for you because you are in heaven, your rewards was great I am sure. I have no doubt He looked at you and said "well done". Your presence is still so real here with us though. I still find myself picking up a phone to call you. Visiting Pop is still so hard, everything in the house is the same, but it feels so empty. I know I should go see him more, and I'm glad he is still attending our church, but the house is so hard.

I wonder what you have seen and witnessed since you left this earth. Have you met Jesus, seen his nail pierced hands? Have you been able to sing with the angels, have you heard their amazing song? Do you look down on us? I know one day I'll get those answers, when I come 'home'.

I wonder if you know that my little girl was named after you. Boy oh boy, she is a spitfire. I guess she is a lot like you! But so sweet too, and has given us such joy! She's the only child of mine you were not here for... but she will know you.

Well, I miss you. I remember standing by your bed 3 years ago, and singing hymns to you, reading scripture to you. I saw you breath your last breath, and as hard as it was... you hurt no more. No more pain, no more cancer, no more hurt.... just peace. I just miss you. Miss your advice. Miss your love. Miss your widsom. Miss you talents. Miss you cobblers! :) But I wouldn't bring you back. I love you now and I will love you always. Thank you for giving me so much of you!

If You Could See Me Now

Our prayers have all been answered
I've finally arrived.
The healing that had been delayed
Has now been realized.
No one's in a hurry,
There's no schedule to keep
We're all enjoying Jesus,
Just sitting at His feet.

If you could see me now
I'm walking streets of gold.
If you could see me now
I'm standing tall and whole.
If you could see me now
You'd know I'd seen His face.
If you could see me now
You'd know the pain's erased.

You wouldn't want me to ever leave this place.
If you could only see me now.

My light and temporary trials
Have worked out for my good.
To know it brought Him glory
When I misunderstood.
Though we've had our sorrows
They can never compare
What Jesus has in store for us,
No language can share.

If you could see me now
I'm walking streets of gold.
If you could see me now
I'm standing tall and whole.
If you could see me now
You'd know I'd seen His face.
If you could see me now
You'd know the pain's erased.

You wouldn't want me to ever leave this perfect place.
If you could only see me now.

You Are a Glazed Donut

Okay, you know that you're plain - and you're cool with that.

You prefer not to let anything distract from your sweetness.

Your appeal is understated yet universal. Everyone dig you.

And in a pinch, you'll probably get eaten.

Finally A Place To Call HOME!

I'm so thrilled to finally have something other than a closet! I didn't take a picture of the opposite side of the room, it has a closet with some of my less used items, toys, and games for the kids. One corner of the room has a HUGE beanbag and a bucket of toys. In the other corner, we are mounting a TV on the wall for movies and playstation. It's nice to have some time to myself, but have the kids in here too during the day. I get a LOT more done. THANKS YOU SWEETHEART, for all the birthday goodies, moving me (and hurting your back), and putting up all my shelves. The 3 tubs on the top of my shelves over my desk say "Stamp, Scrap, and Create!

I've been scrappin!

I love it when I have a little time to catch up. These are both made with a retired Stampin' Up! Simply Scrapping kits. I just love their kits.

My boys are two of my favorite "themes" to scrap. Their personalities are so different, but they are best buds, and mom sure loves that!

Thanks for looking.

Still Scrapping!

I love the smiles of my little girl. Sadly she's now becoming a big girl! But her smiles are still beautiful!
Mom's so far behind on scrapbooking her first year of life! But I'm trying really hard to catch up.

A few LO's...

As much as I love to stamp, I have to find some time to scrapbook. Here's a few of my pages I have recently finished.

Oldies, but still stampin great!

Occassionally I love using my retires sets. I make lot's of cards, and I just happen to be making around 30 for my pastor's wife. When I make a bunch at a time, I have to use different sets and change them up. So although these are not "current" sets, I wanted to share.
