My Christmas Table..

 

This was my first year to really dress up my table.  My grandmother gave all of my china to me almost 22 years ago... can you believe I have never used it.  But we have started new traditions at our house... which includes hubby's lasagna for dinner.  We had a wonderful time.  (Notice my little place cards! )

It has been a long time....

and I have not scrapped in a long time.  Mojo, life, time, etc has just not been in my favor.  :(  But I plan to get busy over the holidays... I am sooo far behind! :)

But until I get a new page ready to share... I'm going to share my precious baby girl.  Her MPact girls group from our church had a Fall Fashion Show.  I was able to do photo's for the girls after they were all "dolled" up! 

I was very proud of my little one... she did a great job and was of course... beautiful! :)

Wow, has it really been that long....

Over a month and I'm so far behind!  I apologize to those that follow my blog, real "life" has greatly been challenging around my house.  Lot's of long stories.... so thankful that I know the Author of it all, and it is in His hands.  (However hard it may be to leave it there at times, right?)

Here is a Layout to tide you over until I get some work done!  I'm considering launching back into crops in my area... there just isn't a lot on my side of town.  But that requires some heavy thinking! ;)

Sorry I have been missing...

it has been a really busy end to summer for our house... although summer is far from over weather wise!  But it is time, none the less, to get things ready for school around here!  I love home educating my children... they are my gifts and blessings!

One thing that has kept us busy this week is the birthday of our youngest little girl!  Happy Birthday to my sweet Cayla!  What a joy and a blessing you have been to our family!  We love you!

This first LO is of my youngest little one.  These were just random photo's of her playing outside, but captures her sweet face so well!

The LO above is a random photo of my two youngest, who are best buds.  We had just ended a photo shoot and they were tired.  Little brother decided to take a rest in her lap.  I love how her hands held his head... sooo sweet don't you think?

One more for today...

Hello and welcome. I am Vanessa (BLOGHOP6) one of the Design Team Members of Colorful Creations.  I dabble in a little bit of everything.  I love making layouts and creating sketches. I love using papers, and flowers, and BUTTONS, anything that makes my pages come alive!  I will be hosting monthly challenges here on my blog and giving away lots of goodies. Here is a cute little Digi that I created for the new challenge at Colorful Creations.  I am still trying to learn my way around the Digital world... but I admit.. they have some beautiful things!  It's fun and quick and you can do it literally anywhere!  ;)  Thanks for looking!!!

Challenge Masters Design Call!!!

Here are the details!

Ch{all}enge Masters {http://www.challengemastersonline.com/} is looking for new Design Divas! The term will run from July 2010 thru December 2010. If chosen, you will be responsible for issuing your first challenge in July!

I am also looking for someone to help secure sponsors for us & someone to be our PR person! If interested in either of those spots, please let me know with your application.

Here are the Design Diva requirements/Guidelines:

* Post 1 new challenge on the assigned date each month along with an example for your challenge.

* Be an active presence in our gallery, making sure at the very least that you leave a comment on each of your category's submissions.

* To be an active presence in our forums on a daily basis. You will be required to initiate a minimum of one new topic on a weekly basis & to make our members feel welcome. We focus on having fun while providing inspiration for our members!!!!

* To proudly display your Design Diva Badge on your blog & in your sig lines at other sites (as allowed) & to help promote Ch{all}enge Masters however/wherever possible.
