Now...

I have thought so much about you today Granny. I miss you so much even three years later. I know to be happy for you because you are in heaven, your rewards was great I am sure. I have no doubt He looked at you and said "well done". Your presence is still so real here with us though. I still find myself picking up a phone to call you. Visiting Pop is still so hard, everything in the house is the same, but it feels so empty. I know I should go see him more, and I'm glad he is still attending our church, but the house is so hard.

I wonder what you have seen and witnessed since you left this earth. Have you met Jesus, seen his nail pierced hands? Have you been able to sing with the angels, have you heard their amazing song? Do you look down on us? I know one day I'll get those answers, when I come 'home'.

I wonder if you know that my little girl was named after you. Boy oh boy, she is a spitfire. I guess she is a lot like you! But so sweet too, and has given us such joy! She's the only child of mine you were not here for... but she will know you.

Well, I miss you. I remember standing by your bed 3 years ago, and singing hymns to you, reading scripture to you. I saw you breath your last breath, and as hard as it was... you hurt no more. No more pain, no more cancer, no more hurt.... just peace. I just miss you. Miss your advice. Miss your love. Miss your widsom. Miss you talents. Miss you cobblers! :) But I wouldn't bring you back. I love you now and I will love you always. Thank you for giving me so much of you!

If You Could See Me Now

Our prayers have all been answered
I've finally arrived.
The healing that had been delayed
Has now been realized.
No one's in a hurry,
There's no schedule to keep
We're all enjoying Jesus,
Just sitting at His feet.

If you could see me now
I'm walking streets of gold.
If you could see me now
I'm standing tall and whole.
If you could see me now
You'd know I'd seen His face.
If you could see me now
You'd know the pain's erased.

You wouldn't want me to ever leave this place.
If you could only see me now.

My light and temporary trials
Have worked out for my good.
To know it brought Him glory
When I misunderstood.
Though we've had our sorrows
They can never compare
What Jesus has in store for us,
No language can share.

If you could see me now
I'm walking streets of gold.
If you could see me now
I'm standing tall and whole.
If you could see me now
You'd know I'd seen His face.
If you could see me now
You'd know the pain's erased.

You wouldn't want me to ever leave this perfect place.
If you could only see me now.

You Are a Glazed Donut

Okay, you know that you're plain - and you're cool with that.

You prefer not to let anything distract from your sweetness.

Your appeal is understated yet universal. Everyone dig you.

And in a pinch, you'll probably get eaten.

Finally A Place To Call HOME!

I'm so thrilled to finally have something other than a closet! I didn't take a picture of the opposite side of the room, it has a closet with some of my less used items, toys, and games for the kids. One corner of the room has a HUGE beanbag and a bucket of toys. In the other corner, we are mounting a TV on the wall for movies and playstation. It's nice to have some time to myself, but have the kids in here too during the day. I get a LOT more done. THANKS YOU SWEETHEART, for all the birthday goodies, moving me (and hurting your back), and putting up all my shelves. The 3 tubs on the top of my shelves over my desk say "Stamp, Scrap, and Create!

Another LO...

My dear hubby and I 10 years ago. Wow, I can't believe that we have been married for almost 10 years! I love him dearly and will forever and always. He truly is the love of my life.

I've been scrappin!

I love it when I have a little time to catch up. These are both made with a retired Stampin' Up! Simply Scrapping kits. I just love their kits.

My boys are two of my favorite "themes" to scrap. Their personalities are so different, but they are best buds, and mom sure loves that!

Thanks for looking.
