No more Christmas cards! :)

Well even as much as I love Christmas and the colors of Christmas and making Christmas cards... I am glad to do something else!

This is a really quick and simple card, but I love it. This uses brayering, in which I'm just not very good at "yet".

Here is what I used: Cardstock: Basic Black, Pretty In Pink, Glossy White; Ink: StazOn Black, Pretty in Pink; Brayering, Winter White Grosgrain Ribbon, Snail Adhesive.

Come back soon!

Merry Christmas!!!

Hello to all! I hope and pray that today is happy and blessed for you all! What a wonderful day to spend with family... and celebrate our Savior! I am constantly amazed that a baby came to earth, and grew, and was a sacrifice for just me. (you too) Emmanuel, His name is called Emmanuel! God with us, abide with us!

I will be posting the January kit this week. I'm a bit behind, but wow, has it been a busy month. So be watching!

And for those who attend my local classes... we will have the schedule up soon! The new catty is coming soon! YEAH!!!

Well, back to my family for some fun and food and grand old time!!! Merry Christmas!

I love making Christmas cards...

Well, I just had to share what fun I've had the past few days completing orders for cards, now maybe I can finish my own! Maybe I should make them all Happy New Year, just in case! :)

The majesty of God's creation...

We were able to spend a little time at our precious Heritage Acres, otherwise known as the "cove". We just love it there. Was my grandmother's favorite place in the world to be... so it's even more special. The trees and their color were beautiful for Alabama. Nice cool afternoon and night air just right for a little fire and roasting marshmallows! :)

Here's a few pics.

Spring Card!

I just love this fall set, Season of Friendship. It is so much fun to use. The pumpkin is from a retired set! Sorry! And I just adore this "spring" card! It is so easy to do, and just add's so much character to the card. See the end of the post for all of the supplies!

The directions are really easy for the "spring". Pick your paper and your circle punch.
Punch your circle from your paper of choice.
Use your scissors to begin cutting "around" the circle to the inside to make the spiral.
Once you have the spiral, attach one end to the top inside of the card, and the other end to the bottom inside of the card. (You want to make sure your spiral will flatten when the card closes.) Punch or cut out your designs and adhere to different sections of the spiral. Presto Chango... you have a delightful spiral card.

This card used: Stamp: Season of Friendship and Dotted Autumn (Retired). Cardstock: More Mustard, Winter White, Really Rust, DSP: Autumn Vine, SU! Brad, Ink: Really Rust, Sage Shadow, More Mustard, Chocolate Chip.

A little fall...

I just love these darling little pumpkins. And better yet, change the papers and add a ribbon and you have darling little Christmas ornaments. You can fill them with potpouri and add a little seasonal smell to the house too!
These are made with Stampin' Up! Autumn Vine Designer Paper, Stampin' Up! Garden Green Cardstock, Stampin' Up! Creamy Carmel Cardstock, Stampin' Up! Brads, Stampin' Up! Oval Punch.

Here are the remaining directions:

1. Cut 10 pieces of orange paper 1/2 inch x 4 inch.
2. Stack together and punch a hole through all pieces at the top and bottom.
3. Adhere pieces with brads through the holes.
4. To create the round shape, spread out each piece of paper.

If you want them a little smaller, change your piece number by 1 or 2. If you want them larger, increase your piece number by 1 or 2.

Be the first to post YOUR little pumpkins and win a few sheets of the Autumn Vine DSP.

Using scraps...

I had a challenge to use 36 pieces of scrap paper in a LO (FH2S). Well I did (actually a few more than that). I think it's cute. Not my typical type of page, but it was fun to do. You just can't have a bad LO with little bit! This is her funny/wrinkled face. She doesn't do it much anymore, she was 18 mo in this photo. Thanks for looking.

My sweet little "man"...

These are pictures of my son Caden who is now 7 at a wedding. These were taken just a few weeks ago. Being the mom to boys is so special... because they always love their mom best! :) I just couldn't believe how "grown up" be looked that day. Seeing him in his tux made me cry! I love him so much. He is such a gentle hearted little "man"! Oh the young lady he is with is his "sweety"... well he likes her more than she likes him... she's 2 years older... but who knows time changes everything! ha ha...

Happy Fourth!

Hi all! Hope you had a great 4th. We had a low key day today, but it was good. Hubby spent some time working on home projects and kept the boys entertained. I scrapped with my two oldest girls, while little bit played around us. Then hubby cooked a great dinner! So it was a good day! Thanks for looking at my LO's! Enjoy.

She has mastered the fine art...

of silly faces. Her two brother's have reigned supreme, but she's taking over now! But however silly, she's still a doll! :O)
