Just wanted to remind you about From Here 2 Scrapternity's Birthday Bash!  There are so many great challenges, and wonderful prizes to be won.  And of course it's a great group of ladies!  Join in the fun!

Here is a layout I completed for one of the challenges.  The assignment was to "scraplift" myself.  So I'm going to show you the one I chose to "lift" then my new LO.  Enjoy!

Challenge Share...

Here is a card I created for a challenge!  The paper is retired Stampin' UP!  The flowers were cut with my Cricut and then layered.  My squiggles are just small strips I cut and curled around a small dowel.  Super easy!

Happy Birthday to My Sweet Boy!

I can not believe it has been six years since my youngest baby boy came into our life.  So different from his older brother... blond hair, blue eyed and full of smiles.... And now six years later... he is still exactly the same.  But his smiles tell all kinds of stories! ;)  Caleb, I love you so very much.  I can never imagine a day without you!  Happy Birthday Sweet Boy!!!

I can't believe

how much I can get done, when I MAKE myself sit down and just work!  I completed so many cards and giftables for our craft show today and tomorrow.  It has been chaotic and crazy and fun!!!!
Here are a few more cards and things:

 PS.  Although I am no longer a demo for Stampin' UP!  I still think their products rock... so you will still see many cards made with SU items.  (I can just use up more of my retired things now!)  In my opinion, there isn't any card stock or ink out there any better than SU! 

Crazy busy...

That would be me!  I have been a crafty slave the past week getting things ready for a Craft Fair this weekend.  I've made a ton of cards and other "gift" items.  I totally had forgotten to photograph them, but I will do that when we set up tomorrow!

So tell me what you have been "crafting"... I might just pick a random person for a sweet little scrappy prize!

New LO Share!

 This LO was created for "If It's Groovy".  I serve as a Design Team member for faithbooking!  I love the challenges and scriptures they assign to us.  This LO is of my sweet son Caden.  The flowers are hand made.  Very simple to make as well.  I'll post some directions tomorrow or Thursday!  Thanks for looking!

Happy Birthday If It's Groovy!!!

If It's Groovy is turning one! And all of the Design Team members are so excited to be part of this HUGE party. So... each of us have created a fun challenge with the chance to win some super prizes! My challenge has all to do with CUPCAKES! Now who doesn't like a cupcake!

Here is the challenge:

Choose your favorite cupcake recipe!

Chocolate – Complete a LO using primarily brown colors.

Vanilla – Complete a LO using primarily white and cream colors.

(You may use one other color in small amounts as your topping.)

Red Velvet – Compete a LO using red, cream and brown.

Sprinkles - Complete a LO using one solid color and 3 coordinating patterned paper.

Now create a Layout based on your favorite cupcake and upload it wherever you keep your wonderful work. Comment on my blog and post a link of where I can find it. OR you can email me your layout to creatingsensations@bellsouth.net  (Please give me permission to post your work on my blog!)

Simon and Theodore! That's where we were today with most of the kids. It was such a cute movie and we had so much fun! I think I liked it better than the first!

2010!!!!

I can't believe that number! Still strange after 10 years to see 2000 instead of 1900. Looking back this year, I am amazed at all the things God has brought us through. We have had a rough year, with 11 months of no job for hubby, continued learning of gracefully raising teenagers, and 3 younger kids at home, changes in other areas as well. But through it all, I can say that God has been with us all the way. We are blessed. We are a family who loves each other fiercely, even when we disagree. I'm thankful that I have good kids, who live good lives. I'm thankful for a husband who is in love with me and with the Lord! There really isn't much more I could ask for. God has met every need, just in time. He provided a job for me when we needed a little extra, and then a great new job for my husband. How great is our God!

I look forward to a new year of life. Join me on this journey... and enjoy my favorite things with me.. my family, my faith, my scrapbooking and stamping! It's going to be exciting!!!
